The smell of metal triggers luhan's gagreflex and everything he sees is bush green, bark brown and blood red. The voices in his head tell him to keep
moving, to not look down, Prayers escape his pale lips As He flies through the woods muscles burning and struggling to keep him balanced, A Long night
smells of blood and unfair deaths, lifes sacrificed for nothing.
Luhan feels ashamed cause the only sacrifice he gave for humanity was his gloves that got ripped as he was trying to get his blade out, blood
dripped from his finger in exchange of the blood pools the brave soldiers bled, but luhan isn't less brave, He might have not lost as much, but he
gave enough to the point where no one dares to question it.
He looks down at the faces sweating at the thought that these souls were fighting next to him just a few minutes ago, they practiced just as hard and
were just as persistence. Luhan's thoughts comes to a stop at a terrifying scene in front of him, it hasn't been five seconds but luhan's
experience tells him it's an abnormal, it doesn't want to devour luhan, it wants to rip him apart and destroy the half titan half human.
There's no time to freak out so luhan swallows the fear and takes out his blade and quickly goes through his plan to harm it enough so he has time to
escape, there's no way he can kill it by himself. It reaches out to luhan wanting to grab him in it's hand but luhan swings his blade cutting it's
fingers before he shoots his hook at it's shoulder to climb up it's arm, suddenly another person is fighting with him, he looks down at it's foot and
sees minseok "Goddamnit minseok!!" He's stabbing it's legs, or at least trying but it quickly raises it's foot and swings it, Luhan seizes the
opportunity and directs a hook on top of it's head, he goes down putting his feet on both side of the titan's shoulders and penetrates
his blade through it's neck, the titan kicks minseok and he crashes against a tree bark.
Luhan is terriefied and he jumps from the titan's shoulders to the ground a pain is sent through his veins stopping at his shoulders when he lands on
his hands but it isn't enough to stop him from running to the injured and possibly dead person on the ground, Luhan shouldn't fall behind and leave
the group for someone he isn't even sure is still alive but the the thought doesn't cross his mind. The stated rule doesn't mean
their lives aren't valuable, it's just that for now and in these conditions prayers are all they can give without losing track of the whole attack.
Luhan drops to his knees next to the body quickly grabbing his hand and gently resting it's head against his own chest
"Minseok" Comes out as barely a whisper
"Luhanie" blood drips from the corner of his mouth Luhan tries to fight the tears, he doesn't want minseok's last memory of him to be his crying face but
minseok can feel luhan's chest muscles stretching as he sobs. "It's okay.. In the morning i'll be with you it'll just be a different kind" Luhan feels
minseok smiling against his chest and he can't tell if it's sadness or relief inside of him, maybe it's neither cause when it comes to minseok luhan
can never tell what it really is.
The question is pushed out of luhan's mind as minseok falls into another fit of coughs, this can't be the end.
Minseok weakly puts his hand on luhan's shoulder and fists his cape, A sob chokes luhan just as he opens his mouth not that he
could've come up with something to say anyway
"I told you to be careful" he says almost angry
"I wanted to protect you" comes a naive answer
"You didn't have to" He kisses minseok's head taking in the mixed scent of blood and rain clinging on him. Minseok looks up at him and luhan never
kissed his lips so desperately before, He brings minseok's nose to his, feeling his breath and his heart sinks, Minseok closes his eyes and luhan
follows, He enjoys minseok's sweet breath and it hitches for a second before it's gone.
Luhan takes off his cape and carefully lays minseok's body on the wet ground before covering it in the dark green piece of fabric
"It willl keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on now.." He stands up and performs a prayer before
