I woke up for my interview on Tuesday and felt great! The sun was streaming through my window and I rose from my bed feeling well rested. The interview was straight-forward and I was then free to travel through to Edinburgh and meet Stuart for the Long Blondes gig. I walked past the amazing hat shop and then popped into Armstrongs and picked up a ( Read more... )

Hello Jane,

Haven't seen you in a while. What did you have an interview for? I'm doing that fashion in Italian cinema course, I was hoping to see you there.
I think the Long Blondes haven't asked you yet as they fear you'd outshine them, you'll just have to front your own band. How's that bass coming along?

Hey critter! I know it's been a while since we last met up. I'm in Glasgow quite a lot these days although in Dundee at the moment. I will be down there tomorrow. Perhaps we could meet for tea. I tried to get onto the fashion course but it was fullly-booked. What is it like? Finding it useful in any way? The job interview was just for some office work at Strathclyde Uni. The work is ok and it would be just something to get me back into a working routine, and free me up to perhaps also do some volunteer museum/film work. Any word from your cousin about graphic design experience? Or should I not ask again!

Hope you are well x

Tea would be splendid and I can tell you all I've learned from the course. My cousin didn't go back to work until about the beginning of February so he didn't get your email 'til then. I thought he was going to contact you though. He's supposed to be coming over for dinner soon so I'll ask him then.
Anyway, I need to sleep but I'll hopefully see you soon.

Hey Hannah,

You have to tell me all about the Italian fashion class. I have signed myself up for a weekend course doing hat design at the Glasgow School of Art. It's not till April but don't want to miss out on it. Have you applied for all your courses yet? I will give you a ring sometime soon and hopefully we can have a cup of tea together. I'm not that busy although seem to be busy most evenings at the moment. Might be free on Thursday for a natter.

Yes I'm helping with the design on a local film, based on the Shakespeare play, The Tempest. There have been lots of issues and problems along the way, but it has been a lot of fun to work on. One of the best tasks has been the casting of actors. You get to meet so many interesting people.
