Man, you register to vote and they put your name on the jury duty list. Fuck. I want all the rights of citizenship, none of the responsibility. And I don't think I'm even gonna vote ( Read more... )

I dont think it has anything to do w/ being registered to vote. I'm not registered and I got called to do jury duty this summer. If youre a student, they might let you off the hook if it's during school. Anyone w/ a driver's license gets called for jury duty- it just matters whether or not youre a citizen or whatever.

in san bernardino county they dont put your name on the list until you register. i registered like 3 weeks ago and got a jury summons like one week ago. bitches.
