You walk around campus and you can't avoid the kids wearing sweatshirts with the names and insignias of other colleges emblazoned on them. "Why would they do that?" I wonder. Wearing the sweatshirt of a college that you don't go to at the college that you do go to only tells people that you weren't good enough to get into the school that you ( Read more... )

well, thanks for the compliment.

i go to cal poly in pomona california. its not a bad school. but, as i have found out, it will kill any romantic illusions you had about college being a final refuge for modern bohemians and stalwart hippies.

can i add you as a friend?

as for romantic notions, I thought, just for a moment about all the schools that LA kids go to, about all the schools LA kids wear stanford sweatshirts to, and I though it might be elca (el camino)-- because you know, even the pv kids go there.

but cal poly is just as well.
definately no bohemians, hippies, post-modern anythingists.

ramble ramble.
