I think were conditioned to be hopelessly romantic. It's not pragmatic, but some people live their lives for love and others live their lives with love but don't allow themselves to sacrifice everything they want to make their lover happy, because really I think who you love should mostly be made happy by knowing that you're happy and vice versa. And I think you should find a way to go to art school.
but there's no 'one thing' that makes it all worth it. maybe it's not about lovers and chores, but about lovers, chores, art, friends, bikes, dogs, silly putty and anything else that brings joy to you in some way or an other. So it's not as though someone's potential existence should be the reason to live, but that if they do exist it will only supplement the existing things that make life worthwhile...
