I was a little confused by the whole:

i dont know perhaps she plays halo 2 and knows how to wield dual weapons..

Press Y to dual wield phone and hand gun
press X to exchange hand gun and pick up phone

...but of course there comes a time when you have to forget about dual wielding and just melee your opponent with a blunt object.
