Let the summer break begin!

Both kids are officially out of school and in summer break. Hooray for summer! We kicked it off by going to Atlantis wave pool on Memorial Day, and then on Saturday we hit Atlantis again followed by the Sellersburg pool on Sunday. Its not like you to go somewhere cool and not take pictures of the kids to share. I'm off to pout....
Sounds like it was super fun except fot the lost shoe caper.

I know - I was kicking myself for forgetting the camera. We'll go to Atlantis at least a few more times (it's 10 minutes down the road) so I'll get pictures then. :-)

And the above is precisely why I want to have children. Gardening work that I would otherwise have to pay someone $$$ to do gets accomplished by my very own indentured servant. Throw em a few new pairs of shoes and they're good to go for another bottle of Round Up.

My mom's friend S, a horse chiropractor, doesn't have kids. One day Mom was telling S about various things that we, Mom's kids, were doing for her: mowing the field, driving her to the doctor, handling flight arrangements, etc. S said, "Ahh, so that's why you bred them!"
