Good luck!!!

I had my wisdom teeth taken out in college. I was put out for the surgery. After the surgery, my mom was supposed to pick me up from the office but she never showed up . It turned out she was somewhere in Chicago (this was before cell phones) looking for a friend that got off at the wrong train station (the woman was coming to visit Viola from Macaomb). The office gave me the phone find someone to pick me up. No one was around... either that or I was too drugged up and couldn't dial correctly. I slightly remember calling my house, Gayle's work, Todd's house and work. I can't remember who ended up picking me up. I felt like such a doofus!

So, Have a super surgery and make sure your ride home doesn't screw you over!

Not to worry. Her ride to the office was also her ride home. She came through the surgery fine and was resting at home last night.

Yep. Mr. Spectacular took me to the appointment, suffered through a badly written book during his wait, held my hand in the recovery closet (can't quite call it a "room") and gave gentle smooches to my numbed mouth and non-numbed forehead. Then he got my pain meds, brought me home, got me settled on the couch, and watched me sleep (probably more like "quietly giggled at my snoring").

Someone tell me again how I got so lucky?
