I pretty much have the whole frizz-ease curling line... plus a small stockpiling of the salon selectives putty that I love that they don't make anymore. And a new Bumble and Bumble cream... which I love the smell of, but it makes my hair kind of slimy.

And P.S. I freakin' LOVE Pink Martini! And it's entirely your fault. I just switched my MySpace song to "Let's Never Stop" and it's amazing.
You are the shit.
Obviously.

So here's the deal. You want a brush that's going to give you a lot of resistance because that's where shine comes from. So, the more bristles and the shorter they are, the better. You don't really need to section off your entire head, just flip your head over and keep brushing until its dry. It'll be straight, full of volume and really healthy looking. (This is the 411 from my lovely hairdresser Pascal at Acote) This was the best advice I've ever gotten and I've gotten lots of compliments on my hair since I started doing this.
Also, if you've never had the bulk taken out of your hair before, you might want to look into that. It makes it a TON more manageable.

Second of all, thanks for the awesome advice! My hair already has too much volume as it is, though, so hopefully if I try the round brush deal I don't look like I have a poofball of a head. :-D
...and taking the bulk out of your hair? What's that? It ALREADY sounds good!! :)
