Wow, it's been almost a year and a half! Me and the Z have had a pretty rough time over the past two years. But things are getting much better. We are just coming out of a serious financial crisis. I don't ever want things to get that bad again

We too have had a rough time with some things, namely Hurricane Ike. $28,000 worth of damage to our home. The good news is...we still have a home! Lots of people have nothing. :(
We have repairs underway...no carpeting, but are getting ready to replace the carpeting with laminate flooring. Painting the walls as I write this, and the roofers will be here on Monday. With any luck, we will have things back in order in time for a xmas tree!!!
Again, so good to see you!! Glad your back!!!

Things are hard for a lot of people right now. It's very sad. So many people are loosing their homes and whatnot. I am thankful for what I have.
It's good to see your still around here on LJ!

OMG, I can't believe Zephyr is in 5th grade! My daughter Katie is in 4th! Crazy how we sometimes barely notice time has gone.
Gee, I don't know if you'll even remember me! We barely knew one another is it is back when, but I always enjoyed reading your posts and feeling a little connected as far as being parents is concerned. I have a son now! Joel is 18 months old this very day!
I hope things are shaping up nicely for you now. Welcome back to LJ Land :)

It's funny how much faster time flies when you have a kid. Why do they grow so fast? Where'd my baby go? Why is she roling her eyes at me?
Things are looking better so far. I've just gotta keep up with it.

Yep, they do grow up too fast. I know, right? I miss when she was more like my little buddy -- I'm getting the eye-rolls now, too. *sigh* I knew it had to happen but I was hoping for at least a couple more years of being cool in my princesses eyes. LOL.
