The tooth fairy is real !

Ambling back through town, I was delighted, thrilled and secretly vindicated to spot the sign "Fairy Dental Service" adorning a dentists.

It wasn't until about 200 yards later that I realised I'd mis-read "Friary Dental Service".

One time I was kidwatching Mark, who must have been six or seven at the time. He'd recently shed a milk tooth and put it under his pillow to be exchanged for a 50p piece by the Tooth Fairy.

I warned him that he'd better not sleep with his head under the pillow, because he might wake up with no teeth and a mouth full of 50p coins.

I do so love traumatising the dear little ones.

Hi Bee, I figure anyone who names their cat after a god is alright by me ... and if I've got that horribly wrong, well, anyone who names their child after a god is also just fine with me ;)

Welcome to Derby. I've been here all of four months ! If you want to know more about the city, you're better talking to my gorgeous gf, debsbattlequeen.

Interested in art ? Have you *looks enthusiastic* had a look at my painitngs ?

Thanks for replying :) I've added you both (I hope that's ok) I've had a quick look at your pics on your page but not a proper look because (woe!) I am on dial up :0 I will come back soon and have a proper look but then you have to look at mine :D

Hermes is a cat, not an especially furry/pointy/smelly baby and named after the god :) the greeks wrote cracking mythology, after all...
