Iran was one of the--if not THE--most evolved middle eastern countries up until 20 or 30 years ago. The Iranian culture and history is amazing, and the people are generally cultured and enlightened, comparatively. The current government is very unpopular, and does not represent the Iranian sentiment.

Plus, the food rocks.

I love Iranian food. There's a restaurant in Chicago called Noon O Kabab. Ab-so-lute-ly stunning food. Just thinking about it sends me into a Pavlovian slobber.

Ok so I'm about to call Molly and I realize that I don't have Molly's number because I just got a new phone and also that it's 1:00 in the morning and that I don't have anyway to get it. Very frustrating.
