The child-seat exception is, unfortunately, one of the perfectly-reasonable rules that was removed from the game in the Equality and Diversity revision of '03. It is no longer tournament-legal, I'm afraid.
No, the only reasonable response is a parallel shunt to Parsons Green. I don't normally like skimming, especially on a double, but in this instance my hand is forced.

Can I use the Piccadily stopoff to switch in at this point? If not, I'll make a standing move here as a track-change to the next player's move. Should stop people using the Islington shortcut at least.
