I am done with the only final I have, but still have one paper to work on (about Gustave Moreau's work) that's due when we're back from the two week Xmas break, and an English oral, which is going to be in January, too

Scary! When you said you walked home alone, I wondered if Lille was a very safe place. Are random shootings like that uncommon in your part of France? Glad you are ok and had a nice walk, though.
