I found this hilarious. Granted, Ed does the laundry most of the time, so this fabulous invention would benefit him more than me... which is opposite of the creators original ideal consumer target.. but hey, it'd still work. lol
I have no doubt many men would still avoid doing the laundry at all possible costs. And if someone invented an all-in-one laundry center/ESPN showcase it might tempt more guys and girls to do their fair share of the laundry.. hah
This comment which got a chuckle out of me "If I haven't learned to do the wash by now, I'm not going to." However.. if that were my boyfriend or husband then, well lets say he would not be happy with me, as I have little tolerance for retarded bs like that.
I don't understand... it takes two or three minutes to get the machine loaded and going, then another minute an hour later to move it to the dryer. It doesn't take much time, it doesn't require physical exertion or repetitive movements. It's not like were using tubs and washboards anymore. So, what's the big deal?
Washing and drying isn't hard to do, but folding takes the most amount of time. Depending on how much clothes you wash at time, it can take anywhere from 10 minutes all the way up to an hour or more. That's were the laziness comes in. Not many people want to fold clothes for that long. Heck, I'd admit it, I hate folding clothes. Especially since I normally do 2 full loads at a time and it usually takes about 45+ minutes to do it.
