In vain, I search

Stalled by a language stripped of emotion for a way to express myself

I can lie; whisper the lovers’ tongue

tell you I will bring the sun, moon and stars

walk on water and tear down mountains

But these words have no meaning in relation to you and me

They do not reveal the smirk I bear when I consider your smile

i wanted to give you the list of writing exercises as well:
