I think I am now officially old. I bought a thing that fixes on my glasses so they can hang on my neck. Yes, I have dangly bits coming down from the frames. This, combined with the demented peering over my specs that is required to see the person across the table while also being able to see my own handwriting...yeah. you get the picture ( Read more... )

Damn! Neither of these two have spectacles on a chain! And it's almost mandatory!

oh, poor you. I sulked for days when I first got glasses (having discovered that I was no longer able to focus the damn enlarger a few years ago without them.) I currently juggle two pairs of glasses. Though I usually just skip the walking-around-ones as I can see *enough* for that without falling over. But can barely read page or screen without the close up ones. Sigh.

The glases on head thing *can* look good--depending on hair etc. I may have to ditch the scarfness. No one looks good with the dangling specs...

But the turban-and-dangly-glasses look is a CLASSIC! You can't mess with the scarf and beaded chain combination! What next? Strawberries without the cream?
