I am absolutely plagued by people who share my name who don't know their own damn email address. I have had job interview notifications, tax returns, yoga appointments, hair appointments, wedding invitations, family photos, mobile phone bills on other continents, and other assorted really private things that I DO NOT WANT from at least three

I often get my first name as a username, and it leads to an astounding number of mis-sent stuff. I end up sending a lot of it directly to Spam. I will reply to some messages with terse "This was not meant for me. Please re-send to the correct address" phrasing, but that's about it.

I'm lying in bed giggling at this because it's impossibly silly. Are you sure nobody's pulling a prank on you? The only alternative is that your namemates are more muppet-like than I want to believe possible. Have you looke for them online?

Also, "muppet" as derogatory seems to be A UK Thing. We should import it.
