I don't know what to do I'm so stressed out and it's giving me a nervous breakdown. I don't want to be in AP history anymore I can't handle it. I feel like I'm going to pass out. There's too much pressure on me and it's making me physically sick. I just can't handle all of this stuff it's too hard

I think you might hafta do the take-an-F-on-your-transcript because your physical well being is way more important that a GPA (weighted or unweighted) and impressing people with the AP stuff. If you can't handle it, you can't handle it. Working harder and stressing yourself even more isn't going to make it better. It sucks to quit, but maybe in the long run it'll be better!? You will still have an impressive transcript and the college will know that maybe history just ain't your thing (or major at least) and it won't matter. You'll still have hard classes to occupy your time, and it'll be better when you're not all sickly. Whoa too much bye!

I <3 you, Dr. Tina! I think you're getting good at that whole telepathy thing, even if it's not overseas yet. i.e. After my mental breakdown that lasted till about 3:00am this morning, I decided to do whatever I could to get into a normal history class. Once I got up, my mom called the office, did a little negotiating, and bam, I'm in 0-hour NORMAL (thank the lord) US History. I kept thinking I was giving up, etc., but I decided in the end that it wasn't worth staying in if all it did was stress me out and make me sick. Plus I need a class where I actually learn things and retain them instead of just reading 5 chapters, memorizing the things that happen and what order they go in, and then be tested on them a week later...I didn't feel like I was learning anything.

I should have just listened to you a while ago when you first told me to switch down. From now on, I will (unless...lol j/k) Love ya bunches, T-Bee. I don't know what I'd do without you.

Hey I'm so glad that you switched out and it worked out for you schedule wise! Regular history is incredibly easy. I got a 36/37 and only reviewed for like 30 sec. It's really intertesting too *dodges rotten fruit hehe* but maybe I just got lucky on that test. But I'm glad it worked out for you and I can sleep easier now knowing that you aren't freaking out and sickly n stuff. Don't feel bad about it Bug, u did the right thing! Will ttyl, where were u today???
