so here's why i am a failure!
i was watching unwrapped last night on food network, and they did a segment on blintzes. so i think to myself "i used to love blintzes! i could make blintzes!" now i was all set to adapt the riccotta recipe from page 107 of how it all vegan (YOU know what i mean) and take out all the vegetables and replace them with ( Read more... )

failure OR intrepid culinary pioneer? i think the matter is clear.

i was introduced to something AMAZING last night. ok you know the video game dance dance revolution? this was like that, except instead of dance you played drums or guitar and there were three of them hooked together so two guitars, one drumset, and you played funny video-game versions of songs like "i fought the law." the screen showed you what note / drum to hit at the right time. omg. truly best video game ever! i also watched some guys who had obviously dedicated their lives to ddr, because they were fricking amazing.

i also had a chance discovery of something very funny on the pages of some horrid financial magazine. but i will save that as a surprise.

that is pretty darn amazing. everyone gets to play dance dance revolution besides me! on an only slightly different note, i want to be in a band called dance dance revolution!

oh gee, that is too ridiculously adorable for words.

effing squirrels. why do they have to be so tiny and cute and have such little hands? and sit on little blue stools, too! ugh. the cute.
