Wednesday Karaoke at Frankie's

Lisa and I went last night and found Horace, Mike, Kimmie and Mellisa there. No one else from the bar sang, there wasn't many other people there. Karen said they didn't really promote it very well, if at all. The boneless wings were pretty good and the beer was cold. I'm glad Karen had some friendly faces there to support her. Next time you see her, say hello from me. I'm not sure when I'll get to come out again, but if she keeps doing two nights then I'll have an extra chance to make it.

Why, whatever do you mean, Richard? I thought Walker's Speakeasy was quite charming. It was dark, Karen had some really nice milk crates to set her expensive equipment on, and was frequented by only the finest transsexuals in the Detroit Metro area.

I was only there twice and when Simone was our waitress the first time it was okay. The second time I never saw a waitress that was so under-qualified for the job. We had to give her our order 3 times and she never did get it right, lol. There were some REALLY good singers there but I hope Karen got an armed-escort at the end of the night.
