In other news, I am a prophet. My last post of crazy was nearly 2 months ago. I predicted the trend of crazy would continue. And it has. Don't worry; you'll only get a few of the highlights, as I really can't remember much of anything more, at this point

I'm so excited for your house! It's very exciting; please tell me that you'll post pictures somewhere. :)
As for the job bit: My thought is ... If you're unsure, it may be best to keep on as you have been. I mostly say that because all of the things that you mention are very time consuming. I know that, personally, having a full time job leaves me little enough time to take care of the laundry once a week, and I don't even do anything on the weekends. I never feel like there's enough time.
However, that said: you're not me, so.
Granted, my secondary opinion on the matter is: it's always awesome when you can actually use your degree in the job that you're doing. I know I certainly appreciate it. If you think you can handle it, and the difference in hours and pay will make it worth it, then I say go for it!
(PS: We miss you out here. Mike and I really miss having you guys around. Lovelovelove)

I wish we could visit Seattle more often. Once every couple of years can't begin to cut it. One big problem about being back home is being in danger of forgetting just how big the world is, and how much more of it there is than Maine. :P WE MISS YOU!!! <3

First of all, it can't hurt. Second of all, if you do get the job and you decide to take it, you'll figure out how to work life around it. I know you will.

It was nice to see you at the wedding! I wish we'd had more time to just hang out.
If you really think you would like the job, apply. In the event they do select you for it, you can decide then if you can handle a full-time gig. Who knows, perhaps some of the other demands will have eased a little by the time they make a decision. It's not like you have to quit your current job to apply, and from what I gather about your current work relationship no one is going to be offended by your wanting to do something closer to your training/major.
House will be over relatively soon. Estate will probably continue for a while, for such is the nature of the beast.
Can't say anything about the writing. My own has been suffering over the last few months....I don't think I've written anything substantial since Christmas-time. I've been stressed about dissertation stuff and I haven't had much creative energy lately.
I dunno if any of this helps, but I'm still willing to cheer you on regardless of what you decide.
