we are both much better today:-) Morgann FINALLY fell asleep at 9 p.m. She literally just cried in my arms for an hour before falling asleep. Poor little girl. She slept ALL night - waking up to eat at 6, then sleeping some more until 8. She is cooing and playing right now. I think the teething does hurt her, but not as bad after a good nights

I agree it's better to let her cry if it's going to give you some time to collect yourself.

have you tried teething tablets? they are by hyland. they work wonders for both my girls.

Megan also gets terrible gas and we do the toes to nose thing and she passes so much gas and then she gets smiley.

I hope it was just a bad day.

Yep. we got some Hylands last night. She fell asleep about an hour we gave them to her. I also gave 2 to her before her nap today. She has been GREAT today. I dont think it was gas though, when she is gassy we do mylicon and it takes care of it usually asap, i did give her mylicon yesterday and all it did was calm her down while she was tasting it...she likes medicines:-)

thanks jess and holly for the reassurance on letting her cry by herself. I just feel like a bad mom, but i know i feel like a worse mom when i am frustrated at her.

Bad sleeping makes it really tough. I hear you on doing the majority of the parenting too--it gets tough! I don't know how single parents do it.
