Morgann just picked up my coffee cup and drank the last drop (only about a teaspoon). She puts the cup down, smiles at me and says: "Delicious!"

Hee hee - that *is* super cute. If you don't mind, I wanted to thank you here in your LJ for responding to my "kids watching TV" question that I posted on the CC.

Alexis just started watching Baby Einsten - and yeah she is only 16 months old so definitely a ways to go before she hits the age 2 that the AAP recommends for 'starting' TV viewing.

I just fear that it may delay her speech or even cause attention problems. She just LOVES Baby Einstein so much that she even knows how to ask for it now. Sigh - I wish she would just abandon her interest in those DVDs all together but I don't see that happening. Honestly, do you think I should be worried? I can take the truth! :)

Personally, I wouldn't be worried. At 16 mo, her attention span is going to be short regardless of TV or no TV and her speech development may range from 2 words to 200. Its all normal
