Mrs Cole, had told him once in passing that he resembled his father.
But what did his father look like? Did he have the same black hair, the same white skin, the same wide eyes? Was he exactly like him? And yet, there were things that seemed to be out of place; a smile too thin for those lips, or the unnerving glare from his eyes that were at once foreign and familiar.
It was at those times, that he could see living proof of his parents having been in love.
(Or wished that it was so.)
