Gryffindor ~ Rawr! (part 1)mollywobblezNovember 29 2006, 15:50:35 UTC
Hello Pamela! It is wonderful to have you here at hh_home! Let’s see what your application says to me…
The Questions 2. This actually comes across as very Ravenclaw to me. You have the Ravenclaw analytical approach and you seemed to have really thought about how the books relate to everyone.
3. If this were a hybrid community, this answer alone would put you into SlytherDor. This answer has all the parallels between Slytherin and Gryffindor wrapped into one quaint little package. From the mood swings to having no clue about your future all the way to keeping people at a friendly distance, you cover both houses beautifully.
4. I’m leaning towards Slytherin with this answer. The way I felt when I read ignorance out of cowardice I can’t comprehend or empathize with just gave me a strong Slytherin feeling.
5. It’s a shame you didn’t give this question a shot. We know you aren’t J.K.R. but it is always interesting to see what parts of the story find superfluous. I have to go with no vibe because even in your refusal to answer I didn’t get a

8. Compassionate ~ Hufflepuff ~ Hufflepuff is the house known to hold members with the most open minds. Hufflepuff are also notorious for their compassion. Intimate ~ Slytherin ~ Slytherin seem to be the ones that would prefer to have their group. Draco is seen primarily with Crabbe and Goyle. The snakes seem to keep to the few they trust rather than make a spectacle in the middle of class. Brave ~ Gryffindor ~ The Sorting Hat tells us directly that Gryffindor are the brash and brave. This isn’t just based on the fact that you feel you would be brave but also on the notion that you have moved beyond letting others push you around.
9. Rash ~ Gryffindor ~ Your explanation of how you act rashly is totally a Harry answer. There is also a hint of Ron in the way you say you have difficulty staying levelheaded *highlight scene from SS/PS where Ron bad mouths Hermione and sends her to the girls’ room crying*. Hero Fetish ~ Gryffindor ~ If this answer doesn’t ooze Ron, I don’t know what does. You summed up Ron’s fantasies very well with this

Thank you! And I'm sorry if the application seemed a bit short. I know that in the FAQs applicants are asked to go into detail, but when I write, I usually try to be succinct and to the point. If there's anything that anyone wants me to explain or elaborate on, I'll be glad to. (I did make an effort, but it's hard to change my style of writing.)

I agree you have a lot of Gryffindor but I somehow get a more practical Ravenclaw feel from this application
#12 really gave me the Ravenclaw shove that refused to leave, Throughout your application there seemed to be a curiosity and an almost detached interest in things that strikes me as more Claw than Lion. I think you would do well in either house but for my money I say Ravenclaw
