What kind of guitar did you get? Electric or acoustic?

Acoustic. It's my first guitar. So far it seems like it's going to be a lot harder to learn than I'd thought...

Yep. Oh, and get this... my buddy Castle, who went with me to help me pick out a good guitar, ended up buying a lovely mandolin from the store as well (he's going to try to teach himself). I thought immediately of you when I saw them hanging on the wall.

Oh yeah! :D That's too cool. What kind of mandolin did he get? I'm thinking about buying one (I'm still just borrowing a friend's).
