[Well now. That was definitely different. Sabin was in the village today and was considering staying there for the time being. The air was getting crisper with each day and soon, he wouldn't be able to venture throughout the forest as he had before. He'd considered to start building a house in the forest but would probably think about it more ( Read more... )

No, it doesn't. It must be the start of some new experiment.

...and I don't like it, at all. The moon is not something to take lightly, not in my world.

Another one? Well then.

And what about those rocks? There's one in the fountain that seems quite content to attempt boiling all the water and I don't think everybody in the village likes drinking tea.

...care to bring one of those to the Welcome Center? I'm no expert, but I know someone who might be able to give us more insight.

This is the first time I've seen it do something like this.

Floating islands back home were bad enough, wouldn't you agree?

Yeah. There are still some things 'bout this place that are just a weird as opposed to back home. This being one of 'em.

It's experiment-time again, isn't it? So...it must be about that, somehow.

That's what I'm thinking. But why would they do that to the moon?

Moon rocks are a primary component of many forms of portal gel. However, seeing as there appear to be no portal devices on this planet, when it comes to what they're going to be used for, your guess is as good as mine.

Well, actually no, it probably isn't. But you can go on thinking that if you'd like to.

A surface upon which portals can be created. The whole thing is highly scientific, however, so if you can't manage to wrap your tiny human thought capacities around it, I wouldn't bother trying. Just know that it's something useful, but it's not useful here.

[Tiny human...? Sabin doesn't really like your tone GLaDOS.]

They could have another use that would benefit the village though.

I think the guy probably pissed the moon off or something because he said he wanted his rocks

Think yelling back would work? I don't know about you but I haven't done anything to the moon recently.
