2012 Crow Collection Fashion Show

I finally got around to posting my photos from the 2012 Crow Collection Cosplay Fashion Show that took place last month.  I attempted to put together a fairy kei outfit.  Fairy kei is a fashion style that popped up in Japan a couple years ago; it combines the 80s with a pastel palette (maybe I'll do a post on it in the future).  The idea to do

I can definitely see some of the clothes working for fairy kei though the overall aesthetic seems to be more Mori Girl (which is softer and more earthy). Never thought those two styles would go together, but that seems to be what Labyrinth has done.

It's too bad you can't see more of the clothes they sell there or visit the actual stores. It's really not mori girl. You can kinda tell by the way they decorate the webpage. I could see those styles going well together though~ fairies are kinda earthy afterall. ^_^ A lot of what I see people calling fairy-kei is more like pastel punk. I think it's a bit more defined than that.
