It seems like a lot of artists in my age bracket are desperately unhappy. I include myself in that category. It isn't teen angst (as we are not teens), but something else. My Livejournal friends list is just full of hopeless entries.

What is happening, you guys? Is it the stars? The art profession during the recession? Man, what is going ON?

For me, I'm lamenting the fact that my line of work is being cut back on too. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life when there's no war for me to go off to.

Welp. There's plenty of stuff to do. Make money off of, though? That's harder.

Yeah, dunno what is going on at the moment! XP I've been feeling a bit down in the dumps m'self but I'm starting to feel better again, just comes and goes I suppose.

If so, I am unhappy with the way this country is. When I was younger I was more hopeful about "Making the world a better place" but the more I see of people the more I wonder if I should try my luck elsewhere. :P

I'm ready to bail to New Zealand, myself. I just wonder if they'd be willing to let in a poor artist. Maybe if I went to work for Weta. :F
