new_kate deserves indescribable amounts of credit for this fic. And now that I'm not running out the door in the middle of the night:

I don't think there's anywhere non-annoying enough for Sally to settle in. At least not with her whole train of pet morons following her around.

For the record you should also be picturing the Chief in that dancing girl outfit Catalina was dreaming of. XD

Well, there's a side story planned for this fic, but I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to do it. Working title is the Ballad of Chief Iron Rod, it'll take place between the Kansas section and the Sanitarium, and will feature his ex partner, one Henrietta Reed. Hah, I really can't escape the bunnies, ever.

This was a wonderful, wonderful (and extremely funny) story. I adored the epilogue most of all and it was a nice idea to make it in a for of letters - the tone of the writers just gives so much additional feeling to them.

The letters were one of the easier sections to write... I was actually going to have it be narrative, but Eustace's florid letter-writing one-upped that idea. Picture Gato as a human jungle gym, and thier silver-haired daughter having Uncle Clarence wrapped around her little finger, and that's all that got lost changing over, I think.

Heh. I was wondering how to take that. XD I'm kind of at a loss without it hanging over my head... Could always work on that side story Kate and Louise were poking me to do.
