This little side story to Hungry Jess is a birthday and thank-you present to new_kate. Thanks also to angstymcgoth for beta help! It fits between part the seventh and part the eighth and features Banri as Ms. Henrietta Reed.

And to think that all the trouble in Burial could so easily be avoided if Hakkai had his tongue in Gojyo's mouth when Banri arrived.

Aw, I'd guess, from extensive experience playing Oregon Trail, that it took them a couple weeks to get from Wichita to Cheyenne? At any rate, a lot more time goes by between parts 7 and 8 than passes in any of the written-out parts of the fic. Besides, being Sally, if she didn't have a secret fondness for them all they wouldn't have made it with her to Nevada. ♥
