So Thursday morning I flew to Chicago to interview with NOVA. I'm exactly sure how the interview went. I thought they were going to ask me questions about teaching, my study abroad experience,etc., but most of the questions ended up being stuff like "Tell us about a bad quality you have and how that may have annoyed someone recently." o_O I guess ( Read more... )

I'm sure you will get the job with NOVA. They are terribly understaffed right now, and it's a dead easy job anyway.

I am of the same mind as Mr. Reiser. Where is this mystical decent Chinese food in Austin of which you speak? Do you speak lies?

Ah, host mothers' kara-age. One of the tastiest things to come home to. I suddenly remember coming home from the Mt. Fuji trip to a bowl of homemade ramen. It didn't taste as good as it probably should have, because I was a bit hungover and bussick. I feel bad for not being all んまっ！！ like a タレント, which was how I usually felt about her cooking.

God, I love food.
