You make it sound like the kids wouldn't choose these costumes of their own volition. While goofy, those are actually quite tame- compared to what some of my students INSISTED on wearing for Halloween, or thanks to Xtina and Britney, just to school on a normal day.

If I have kids, they're going to a school that requires uniforms.

strange that actually a costime section as doe snotseeme appropriate for kids - though agree above with whatmight want to wear. I dressed up as madonna in elementary school and was into that and other eighties stuff quite a bit - lace fingerless gloves neon and all .
