It would be too much to hope that he'll still maintain his blog, huh. :( I would love to see more of the kiddo even just through pictures and posts on his blog, just so I know for myself that he's doing okay.
The kiddo's my baby, somehow that makes this hurt just that tiny bit more because it almost feels like I'm watching my own kid grow up and move away from me :( We'll miss you, Mao.
Coming back to LJ just to find the sad news about Mao's retirement T____T
Maybe it's bad news for most of his fans but this could be Mao's first step to a better future. So I believe he chose this path fully understand the consequences.
I hope whatever he does in the future, it would make him happy =)
adorable-turned-sexy good looks This!
If what he wants to do doesn't fit, [1] He chose to retire, huh Somehow I feel something IS going on that makes him decide to retire...
I didn't even know about it until Jess told me. For that matter, I'm not even sure how Jess knew, unless she saw Yutaka's entry first and wondered what was up and so traipsed over to Mao's blog and then saw it. :(
It's good to hear from you! Thank you for the translation of Kobayashi Yutaka's blog. There's a lot of speculation going on right now about Mao's decision, from him wanting to leave his agency to how he's going to college next year. Whatever the reason/s may be, I hope he finds happiness and fulfilment in all that he does.
And then there is also the very absurd rumour that he is being forced to quit showbiz to hide his relationship with Daisuke. *rolls eyes* I mean, come on, I ship them, every so often something happens and I go "YEP THEY'RE DATING HOW CAN THEY NOT BE DATING I'M SURE THEY'RE ACTUALLY ENGAGED ALREADY!!", but I'm not so delusional as to actually believe it's real! O_o
*sigh*
I'm proud of him. How many Japanese actors have left the industry so suddenly, and how many of them went beyond their blogs by choosing instead to go live in front of a camera, where there can be no editing what you typed, no filtering of what you say, no hiding behind the backspace button as it takes away your purest thoughts only to replace it with something sanitised?
