I went to my Grandmas house earlier with my mum, and that was strange. Being there and knowing that Grandad isnt going to be sitting in that chair ever again. And it's not my "Grandparents" house anymore, its just Grandmas. Kinda helped it hit home I guess. We drank some of the wine he got for Christmas in his honour too. My Grandad passed away today. In a way, I'm relieved because it means he isnt suffering anymore. Grandma was with him when he died and he didn't suffer at all, so I'm really pleased about that. To be honest, I'm a lot happier now than I was yesterday, because yesterday I was really worried about him all day. Worrying about him suffering was worse ( Read more... ) -

Okay, so Warwick Hospital is the definition of suck and actually, Grandad isnt going home and has in fact, deteriated again. I've been in the writing mood lately (I think the writing bug has bitten everyone!) so I'm finally getting some of ideas that I've had for ages down on paper.
