Adopt a Protester

The Westboro Baptist Church is a group of about 100 congregants in Topeka Kansas, most of whom are related, and lead by the patriarch Fred Phelps. They're pretty famous for their protest of the funerals of homosexuals and service people, claiming that the Iraq war is God's punishment for America's increasing acceptance of GLBT lifestyles. Haha, what a neat way to punish them for their own actions. I like it. The best thing, though, would be to find a way to make it a really well-known thing, like contacting news media with it somehow.

This is picky, but the Westboro Baptist Church is based in Topeka, Kansas. As someone who lives two hours south of Topeka, I would like to say that they are not in the deep south. In fact, Kansas can hardly be considered southern. Midwest what?!
Or maybe I just refuse to think I live in the South.

David, I took a look at their websites, and I can say that just reading one article made me so angry and sick. I notice that out of all their Bible thumping, they left out the one verse (and I don't remember exactly where in the Bible it is) that says "So concerned are you with the splinter in your neighbor's eye, that you miss the beam of wood in your own."
