Alright folks, I just got back from a midnight showing of X-Men 3: The Last Stand . Take note of the fact that I wrote out the entirety of the title. This is because anything less would do this film a disservice the likes of which have not been seen since the wachowskis sat down to write the matrix 2 & 3. Thanks for the mini-review. And I'm glad you didn't spoil anything for those of us who have yet to screen the film. For that, I am eternally grateful. :)

I read the review in The Jackson Citizen Patriot, but I don't put stock into anything that those douchebags print on paper, so I doubt I'll give their lukewarm rating at best any sort of credibility.

I wanted to go with Brian and Shiloh today, but they were busy; on the flip-side, I just got an e-mail from Ben, and he wants to see it, tonight, so I guess that's what I'm doing. :)

neighbor geoff: The movies been getting so-so reviews all around the web to be honest. I have a hard time reviewing it as a movie, because my inner child spent the entirety of those two hours squeeling in joy every time a mutant I knew from my geeky youth came on screen and did something cool. Maybe on a second viewing I'll be able to look at it in a more honest light. By this point you've probably already seen it, but if you haven't, consider these words.

I'm not sure if it's a good movie, but I'm damn sure it's a cool movie.
