Drabble 2
Junsu stared at the toilet bowl where he had stick his head into for the past few minutes or so with a frightened comprehension. It was the third time that day and his gut feeling told him that his body was experiencing something that he had dread to go through again.

“Su-yah, are you okay?”

The sleepy voice of his husband behind him startled Junsu out from his reverie. Quickly the younger man flushed the remains of his breakfast and rinsed his mouth and hands before exited the bathroom to face a concerned Park Yoochun.

“Su…”

“Ah… I’m okay. Just a stomach flu or something. Maybe it was my breakfast or my digestion,” Junsu masked the sinking feeling in his stomach with a bright smile and went back to bed.

As expected, Yoochun was immediately concerned of his husband. He quickly sat up from his sleeping position and fussed after his husband, admonishing him for working too hard and eating carelessly. His husband just smiled weakly at the exaggerated treatment and for once didn’t complain or blushed but instead complied obediently and stayed in bed for the rest of the day, a distant expression plastered on his face.

This worried Yoochun.

The last time Junsu was acting remotely like this was 2 years ago, when their relationship was not truly mended yet, when the scars in Junsu’s mind and on Junsu’s body were still too fresh and new. And to think that something he had done could reversed Junsu’s state back to those dark days terrified Yoochun.

‘Was I too rough last night? Did I say something wrong to him? Was I too harsh when I told him to quit spoiling Na Young…?’

Needless to say, that day Park Yoochun felt reacquainted   with those hellish days from his past.

Junsu rubbed his stomach absentmindedly. Like his husband, his mind was also a mess. He didn’t hate being pregnant nor he hated the extra child who would be joining his family if he or she was to be born. It’s just…

His pregnancy definitely brought back many unpleasant memories.

Every time he puked out his guts, he flinched as his mind assaulted him with recollections of the past, when he did the exact same thing but with bruises and wounds all over his body.

Every time he felt dizzy, he remembered the harsh shoves and remarks that Yoochun made before, accusing him for pretending to be weak and how he was so useless.

Yes, he knew that Yoochun had changed. His husband had changed so much that he was even better than the person he met and fell in love in the first place. For the past 2 years, Junsu had been spoiled to the maximum. And he also had forgiven his husband for all of his mistreatments, because well, Yoochun had clearly repented and he was human. Human was allowed to make mistakes… and he truly had forgiven him.

But forgiving didn’t mean forgetting.

He stared at his still flat stomach. Although he had not checked with any doctor or did any required test, the familiar symptoms were so ingrained in his mind that he was 100% sure that there was a life in his body for the second time.

And he was scared of Yoochun’s reaction. Would he be as welcoming to the idea of another child? This… certainly had not been planned a t all. And he could still remember Yoochun’s tired words from last week when they needed to separate Tae Hyun and Na Young from fighting over some toys. Na Young, although being 5 years older, sometimes could be as childish as his baby brother… And Yoochun had fell on their bed after calming Tae Hyun down and grinned to him tiredly. “I can’t wait to see them all grown up,” he had said.

Now Junsu was going to add another chaos inside the house. How would Yoochun react?

Junsu sighed and pushed the dark thoughts that loomed in his head away. He refused to think badly of Yoochun, no matter how close he was to lose his mind and composure every time Yoochun raised his voice at him or handled him a little bit rougher.

As he said. Forgiving didn’t mean forgetting.

‘Ah well…” Junsu decided to just let fate ran its course. Tomorrow Yoochun would take him to the doctor and so,” let the doctor be the one to shoulder the responsibility of telling him then”.

With that decision, Junsu shut his mind down and plastered a smile to welcome his husband back.

Yoochun gaped at the old man in front of him. He had not moved since 3 minutes ago after the doctor flashed him a bright smile and congratulate him for being a father again.

Beside him, Junsu waited nervously to his husband’s reaction. When Yoochun didn’t seem to incline to give out any response, he debated whether slapping him awake would trigger any violent response from his husband.

Fortunately, he didn’t need to resort to such violent gesture because Yoochun suddenly leaped out from his seat and jumped to hug the doctor.

“Oh My GOD! Junsu is pregnant!” He shook the doctor vigorously and Junsu swore that he heard some cracking sounds from the doctor’s body.

“Ehm… Mr Park… Mr Park…” The small-build older man tried to pry himself from Yoochun’s strong hold to no avail.

“You’re pregnant?! God, You’re pregnant!” He looked at Junsu with such a joyful expression while still shaking the poor doctor. And Junsu felt the tight knot in his chest loosened considerably.

And he just watched with a small permanent smile on his face as Yoochun grilled the doctor of what would Junsu need during his pregnancy, and whether male pregnancy would be much different from female pregnancy, and whether Junsu would need some special assistance during his pregnancy…

“Chunnie…!!” Junsu cut him out, horrified at the notion that his husband’s thought that he should be put on a bed rest through all of his pregnancy. “I will be just fine! I gave birth to Tae Hyun just fine didn’t I? And I wasn’t under the best condi…tion…”

His voice trailed off as the guilty expression that he was so familiar with crept back to Yoochun’s face. The rest of the consultation was spent in a solemn mood as Yoochun’s delight had turned to a total somberness. And Junsu felt so bad for ruining what had been a happy occasion for both of them.

“Chunnie… I’m sorry…” He uttered softly when they finally seated in the car. Yoochun immediately turned to face his husband and gave him a small pained smile. “Why are you sorry, Su? You are right… You got the worst treatment ever from me before…”

He put his finger on his husband’s lip when Junsu was about to let out a protest. “I treated you horribly before, we both know that. So now Su-ah, please, let me make it up to you, okay? I’m going to take care of you and our unborn baby the best that I can. Will you give me the chance?”

And as his husband leaned forward and planted the gentlest kiss on his lips, Yoochun swore that he would make this the best pregnancy ever for Junsu.

That night…

“Chunnie… please…” Junsu writhed sensuously under his husband’s skilled ministration, but unlike the usual, Yoochun completely ignored him.

“Yoochun-ah…” He really couldn’t take it anymore but Yoochun didn’t even seem to be inclined to take their love making further.

Irritated and horny as hell, Junsu sat up and slapped Yoochun’s teasing hands from his body. “Yoochun-ah… what are you doing? I’m nearly going insane from all the teasing!!”

Yoochun seemed unfazed and looked at his husband. “But Su-ah, we cannot make love! What if it harms the baby?”

Junsu groaned. The retort of how he had withstood much rougher treatments during his previous pregnancy had been on the tip of his tongue. But he certainly didn’t want to bring up that horrible memories. So instead, he glared menacingly at his husband.

“If you don’t continue to finish what you started, I’m going to kick you out from the room and finish this myself. And don’t dream to get any for the rest of the pregnancy!!”

The horrified expression on Yoochun’s face drew a small satisfaction from Junsu… which quickly turned into much larger satisfaction as Yoochun decided to give into his husband’s demand and continue to make the night another unforgettable night in Junsu’s memory.
