My Favourite Toy 1

Feb 23, 2010 00:31

Junsu had a favourite toy.
It was red, tiny and shiny. With a sharp silver blade that was ready to nick and prick your skin if you dared to touch it.

CHAPTER 1

“I’m going off baby,” Yoochun smiled and pecked his husband on the forehead as usual and received a smile back.

“Have a nice day, Yoochun-ah,” Junsu returned the kiss on the cheek and waved slightly as his husband made his way out from the house and into his car.

Yoochun watched his husband standing outside the door from his rear-view mirror and sighed as he drove out from the garage. His guilt had started to get unbearable nowadays, especially in the morning whenever he saw his husband smiling genuinely every time he sent him off, and at night, when he slept inside Yoochun’s embrace trustingly.

He knew that he had hurt the other man with the worst way possible when he decided to take the bait and started his affair. But he just couldn’t help it… Jaejoong was just irresistible. He was lively, daring, independent, passionate… Everything that Junsu was before… everything that he was not now.

He had fallen in love back then, when Junsu was still the soccer star in their high school 7 years ago. Junsu had been a bright diamond among all the still unpolished gems in the high school. He was talented, he was sociable, he was lovely… everybody loved him.

Even when his character turned to embrace darkness when the tragedy that hit his twin brother occurred, Yoochun still felt himself drawn to the other young man. For him, the subdued, solemn young man was a challenge for him to conquer… and to protect.

And so 7 years down the road, they had been married happily for 2 years. Everything was perfect. At least for Junsu it still was. For Yoochun, everything had changed since he met Jaejoong.

It was not like he didn’t love Junsu anymore. His husband still held his heart… although not all of it nowadays. He was tired of Junsu’s obedience and compliance… the main reason he fell in love with Junsu was due to firey character… something that had been buried under his robotic behavior since 6 years ago.

And so, can you blame him to be attracted to Jaejoong like a moth drawn to a light?

But he wouldn’t leave Junsu… nor would he tell him anything.

What he didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him right?

~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~

Junsu watched as his husband’s car disappeared on the curve of the small road with a pair of sad eyes. He was not a fool that he was completely clueless about what had been going on behind his back.

Those midnight rendezvous dates that his husband tried to disguise as late meetings didn’t fool him, nor did the erotic and loving messages his husband faithfully sent to that mysterious man of his escaped his observation.

But he kept his silence and plastered his loving smile still.

It would be okay… as long as Yoochun didn’t leave him.

He wouldn’t object to his husband’s affair, nor would he confront him for his… fornication outside no matter how much it hurt him… because he couldn’t afford it if Yoochun decided to hate him and leave him for his other man in the end.

What would he be if that happened?

Yoochun was… the only light in his life. He was the only one who didn’t drift away from him like so many others did, when he started to shield himself from interaction with others, afraid of the accusation he might found in those eyes. Yoochun was the only one who found him worthy enough to be loved, to be taken care of, to accept him as what he was… a mere broken doll.

And he was a mere broken doll.

So how could a worthless object like him dared to confront the man who had kind enough to spare pity for him? He was already threading the thin line right now, knowing that Yoochun might throw him away whenever he liked, whenever he found that his new obsession was more beautiful, more satisfying, more worthy than a mere Junsu.

Junsu knew that he had nobody to blame but himself when he realized that he failed to keep Yoochun loyal on his side. His smile had not been enough, his submission had not been enough, his body had not been fulfilling enough. Even though he worked so hard not to make any mistakes, Yoochun still slipped away from his grasp… like everyone else.

Now he could only do what he did the best. Stayed in silence, smiled, nodded when asked, entertain when required…

Even as he found pieces of himself breaking away when he smelled the perfume of the other man on Yoochun’s shirt as he hugged him when he announced that he was back. Even when he would swallow his tears in silence whenever he calls Yoochun’s office just to be informed that his husband was not in his self-announced ‘meeting’. Or to firmly plaster his loving smile whenever Yoochun kissed him on the cheek while saying, “Love you babe!” and was gone to answer a ‘business phone call’ for hours, leaving him to eat his dinner in silence.

Because it was who he was.

Only a Junsu.

And his strappal slowly making a comeback in his life.

(Not that his husband ever noticed…)

A/N I'm going crazy nowadays! Not only my projects deadline coming up at the same time, I also on the borderline of getting kicked out from my hostel. Not because of financial problem, but the things is in my uni, there is this system where one must earn certain points in order to be able to stay in the hostel and you can earn it through your activities. Unfortunately despite doing so many activities (performances, cheerleadings, organizing committe) I still don't have enough points. Damn...

So yeah, just want to rant for my bad day. Hopefully you'll enjoy the story and don't forget to leave comments (to cheer me up. hehehe)
