What the leper dragged in.

Thorn is back by late afternoon, dripping on the carpet, but with a relatively human Courtney in tow. The house is terribly quiet, this time of day. He hurriedly leads her into the homey kitchen, where any saltwater he's tracking in can be easily mopped up. One can bet he won't leave that task for Matthew, either.

Courtney tags along after him mildly, looking a little dazed and emotional, and clinging to his sleeve. "You should change...I could make tea..."

"Umm... Orright." He worries his lip and hesitates in the doorway, reluctant to leave her as if he expects her to vanish once he leaves the room. He does go, however, and returns quickly in dry clothes, toweling off his hair. He has changed too quickly to have taken the time for a shower, wanting to get back to her as quickly as possible. Damp but no longer dripping, his hair sticks out in spikes.

She's heated up two cups of water in the microwave, and is looking around for tea bags when he returns. She gives him a shy smile.

Despite having become quite adept at using the microwave, Thorn prefers traditional cooking methods and it's never occurred to him to use it for such a simple thing as heating water. He pulls over a jar from the back of the counter, full of dried leaves from Leela's garden, and a couple of tea balls. Is there any other way to have tea? "Ummm... ye hungry?" The question emerges as an embarrassed mumble, for various reasons.
