Grad school is a marathon. I used to pull >50 h weeks in undergrad, once working 90 h in 6 days. I could do things like that because it was temporary. I would always have enough time to sleep off the exhaustion and catch up with friends and family the next day

It's definitely not worth ulcers. I hope you don't end up working that much. I think I never reached even 60 hours a week. I had two jobs once and got up to about 50 or so. I still had two days a month without work but occasionally I did have those pesky 12 hour days where I went from one job to the other. Short-term it was ok but I think doing that for too long would seriously burn anyone out. Not to mention there's never any time to be with people because you're always working.
