You need to read Ni's spoiler threads. We've rationed this down to a science.

Frankly, I'm not crazy for it (the book itself), and I'm hoping that isn't because I was spoiled about the R/T beforehand. Maybe a lengthier review later. But really, did you feel any sort of reciprocation in that hospital scene? Hmmm?

Darling, no retirement, please. I've had a week to deal with this, it get easier.

There there. It does get better. The writing was quite poor and nowhere up to PoA, OotP standard. This explains a lot.

Nor I! I'd resigned myself to possible R/T & H/G, but did she have to write it so God awfully??

It was if she was in such a rush to allocate ships she forgot not to be OOC, unromantic, rushed etc. Poor Lupin.

Yeah, it's the writing that makes it sucky. I can't think of a more wet, pathetic couple of R/T as written here. It does not for one moment make me think "comfort in bad times, right and good". It is quite irksome.

I rushed so much over the H/G that I will need to re-read. But I know a lot of people are having issues with it, and there was so little build-up to the True Love.

It was really poorly executed. Poor Lupin indeed, his character really came crashing down. It got me thinking that it was better that Sirius died, because at least his character is safe now.
