Stupidest post ever

I am at that stage where either my hair has got to grow longer so I can tie it back or I go get myself another bob. I am weak and always cave in to the latter and I want to be strong this time but I am using bobby pins like a proper Edwardian lady and bobs are just so summery and cute ( Read more... )

Oh how busy I am in theory.

That describes my entire summer.

I am glad to hear about your friend, the David Tennant-ish one. Even when it is not romantic, it is always nice to hear that you've made as much of an impact on someone as they have on you.

It frequently describes my life. It becomes wearisome after a while.

I'm glad I don't sound nuts, then. It just always irked me a bit, the idea that I hadn't put in the best show. I wanted another chance, and as he lived across the world that wasn't possible. Now that my spirit is satisfied it doesn't really matter if we become friends or not. But we could and that makes me feel happy.

You will never sound like Ginny Weasley!(For her character oscillates wildly & OOC-ly, as per JKR's plot device whim).

You have found a boy who conspires on yaoi? That bodes well.

Oh goodness, that was me, I forgot to sign in, obviously.

"I am not just a poor plot device" - I need that icon.

Yes indeed! A Brisbane boy no less. Probably won't ever do it but someone saying "you should write a yaoi" brings a smile to my face.

I resent pins muchly. My hair is over my shoulders so I am expected to tie it up for work - nevermind that round my face it is a hell of a lot shorter. And so, I end up sticking about twelve pins in my hair every week to keep it from hanging in my face. That end up loosening somehow anyway and EURGH.

I'm sorry. It's a sore point. Don't mention pins around me.

But you should resist the temptation! Let your hair grow!

pins. pins pins. pins pins pins. pins. pins pins pins pins. pins pins. pins pins. pins pins pins. ... pins.

Thing is I find pins novel and novel is fun, but I am leaning on them very heavily now and consequently the fun is starting to fade (honeymoon is over, omg!). But I seriously must be the only girl who hates the look of long hair on myself - I can't stand it! I want long hair only so I can tie it back, and do plaits and stuff.

I don't know if that is a strong enough basis on which to resist temptation.

*glowers* Damn those pins.

Hmmmm, I don't know - plaits could be pretty fun! I think it's a pretty stong basis. You need to resist! Hold out for those plaits. Plait the ends of scarfs or something to remind you what you are waiting for.

You know, I don't know what I'm on about half the time myself.

Plaits. Right. They are cute. I need to channel plaits. Plaits plaits plaits pins - d'oh!

I don't think any of us are on the planet much of the time. It's all good!

Aaaand, your answer is here.

"Rightio. If anyone wants to make me icons they may."

No, sorry. But you can check out my fantastical new icon, Mr. Former Dani Minogue!

Knew you'd have the answer, though I was thinking along the lines of the policing guy. Hmm, so bobby pin is probably connected with the bob? Sweet.

Yeah, Julian seems really big in the US. You know about his mother, right? Lady Sonia. She caused quite a stir in the 70s when she went to the White House with her older husband (the PM) and showed too much leg.

No! So Julian's dad was the PM? Or his mom just married him? Crazy fucking rich people. God I want to be one.

I was thinking today of some story about Prince while I was driving home in gluey traffic from the dr.'s office. And how one time Prince asked an assistant if he could have something very random, say a lion to come to his house at 2am, on loan from the Minneapolis Zoo. And the assitant tried to explain to him why this COULD NOT happen, which Prince could not comprehend. Much third person doubletalk ("But Prince wants the lion. Why would you deny Prince?") ensued.

I love the nip/tuck. The nip/tuck love me. My mother is a big House fan. Just thought I'd thrown that out there.

Yup, Dad Billy McMahon was PM in '71 & '72 and, according to wikipedia, "No Australian Prime Minister has had such a bad press as McMahon." And here's Sonia in that dress. Not everyone thought it was so smashing.

I really want to an insert a definite article there - "why would you deny the Prince." His aspirations were obviously on hold until the Love Symbol period.

I'd love to see nip/tuck! But I haven't. Instead I watch House with the older generation :)
