I was laughing my ass off when I saw the headbutt. Hi-larious. I dunno... see I know that France outplayed Italy... but then again, France never should've gotten that penalty kick at the beginning. They got so lucky that that Malouda didn't get caught on that dive. So ehh... ITAAAALIAAAA!
Yes, Malouda should have gotten the penalty for the second one, but who's to say the game would have worked out like it did if he hadn't gotten the first? Anyways, I agree that Italy was outplayed by far in the second half, it was quite painful to watch. What was Barthez doing in goal anyway? he looked really shaky between the pipes every time I saw him, even on his saves. ><
I expected much better out of Buffon, too. Gah. In truth, France probably should have won, but I'm still glad that my Italia did. WEWT
