Ha when I was little the Jehovah's Witnesses would come around the neighborhood and my mom would shut the doors, windows, and basically barricade the house off. I had no idea what was going on, and she would tell me there were people selling candy with nuts in it. Of course no 8 year old likes candy with nuts in it so I complied with with the "barricading".

Star Wars figures are now worth hundreds

This one time when I was a kid living in NJ the Jehovah's came to the door, and my mother in the same fashion would barricade the house by closing all the doors and windows and blinds and curtians. However my brother thought it would be a good idea to throw Star Wars action figures out of the second floor bedroom window onto them. Needless to say my mom opened the door to yell at us to stop and from there I don't really remember what happened.
