you should read girl, interrupted if you get a chance. it's a book about an eighteen year old girl's stay in a psychiatric hospital. it's pretty good, and pretty eye opening. :)

I actually have read it. And I've seen the movie a million times, lol.

Definitely made me cry a whole lot but I love it.

another book-turned-movie, "the beach" by alex garland is pretty much my favorite (it's way better than the movie). "the picture of dorian gray" by oscar wilde is pretty good. i can't really think of any others right now...
