So, I got to feeling a little nostalgic about an era of my life that is only vaguely memorable to me. I was listening to an audio cassette tape (remember those? wow, magnetic tapes!) of music someone sent me over 15 years ago. Actually, it may have been about 17 years ago, or so. google'able LUV that term! lol. I don't recall the part about when the internet was just getting going.......i was like allergic to it. Refusing to go near this new entity.....(well new to us not new to the powers that be). I swore high and low i'd never get obsessed with the internet. What now you say? The last seven years - no one can pull me away! Now what makes it tougher is no computer at home, having to use my mom's during infrequent visits or waiting in line at a library or sneaking at work. Yes, i'm obsessed and attached to it. Listening to music from another era though IS familiar. I only listen to 70's and 80's. It puts me in a happy pleasant carefree place in time...in my mind.
