Rachael!!! Didn't we read that book in 8th grade with stupid ass Mrs. Sumpter for our teacher? God I hated the Pearl.

mrs. sumpter is the perfect example of a horrible english teacher, with an obsession for grammar, when the main focus is supposed to be literature.
and crappy choice of books, too.
the pearl was okay, i actually liked it. but that one book about the kid who gets killed in an orphanage by ducks? THE LOTTERY ROSE. or something to that effect. evil, evil book. evil, evil teacher.
