one of many reasons why I've got different point of view than most of people

Some children talk with their parents about their school/job. Some don't talk at all.

Yesterday I had a nice discussion with my father why men should undergo medical examination "per rectum". HEH. And why my friend didn't like it and why he was surprised that gay men like doing it. ;]

heh XD

I have lengthy discussions with my father about our jobs. we both work in factories (me in an electronics one, he in textiles production) so we have lots of mutual subjects to rant on. plus he's one of the few people I know who can actually hold a conversation about electronics, usually people are pretty clueless about it, unless they work in the field themselves.

however, this is nowhere as interesting as your topics ;)

Heh.
My dad's a doctor and it explains everything. ;]
Medicine isn't my field but it's quite interesting. That's why I've got some strange hobbies like skin diseases and the history of gynecology. XDDD
And I understand you, nobody wants to talk about law...::crying::

yeah, but you can always go and work in some more interesting field. I am a librarian by education (and will get my BA in a few weeks!) and I definitely don't want to discuss libraries with anyone XD
